भारतरत्न डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांची जयंती म्हणजे केवळ एक सण नव्हे, तर तो विचार आणि प्रेरणेचा उत्सव आहे. बाबासाहेबांचे जीवन हे संघर्षातून यशाकडे आणि अज्ञानाकडून ज्ञानाकडे नेणारा एक देदीप्यमान प्रवास आहे. आंबेडकर जयंतीच्या निमित्ताने त्यांच्या जीवनातील काही अत्यंत प्रेरणादायी गोष्टी खालीलप्रमाणे आहेत:

१. ज्ञानाची अफाट ओढ (विद्यार्थी जीवन)

बाबासाहेब हे जगातील सर्वात सुशिक्षित व्यक्तींपैकी एक मानले जातात. कोलंबिया विद्यापीठ आणि लंडन स्कूल ऑफ इकॉनॉमिक्समधून त्यांनी उच्च शिक्षण घेतले.

प्रेरणा: ते दिवसातील १८-१८ तास अभ्यास करत असत. त्यांच्या मते, "शिक्षण हे वाघिणीचे दूध आहे आणि जो ते प्राशन करेल तो गुरगुरल्याशिवाय राहणार नाही." परिस्थिती कितीही प्रतिकूल असली तरी शिक्षणानेच माणूस आपले नशीब बदलू शकतो, हे त्यांनी सिद्ध केले.

२. वाचनाची आवड

बाबासाहेबांचे पुस्तकांवर इतके प्रेम होते की, त्यांनी मुंबईत आपले घर 'राजगृह' केवळ पुस्तकांसाठी बांधले होते. त्यांच्याकडे ५०,००० पेक्षा जास्त पुस्तकांचा वैयक्तिक संग्रह होता.

प्रेरणा: ते म्हणत, "ज्याचे वाचन समृद्ध, त्याचे विचार समृद्ध." संकटाच्या काळातही पुस्तकांनी त्यांना साथ दिली आणि त्यातूनच त्यांनी देशाची राज्यघटना लिहिण्याचे सामर्थ्य मिळवले.

३. समता आणि मानवी हक्कांचा संघर्ष

महाडचा चवदार तळे सत्याग्रह असो किंवा काळाराम मंदिर प्रवेश, बाबासाहेबांनी कधीही हिंसेचा मार्ग स्वीकारला नाही. त्यांनी कायद्याच्या आणि संविधानाच्या चौकटीत राहून अस्पृश्यता आणि विषमतेविरुद्ध लढा दिला.

प्रेरणा: अन्यायाविरुद्ध लढताना डोकं शांत आणि विचार प्रगल्भ असावेत, ही शिकवण त्यांनी आपल्या कृतीतून दिली.

४. बाबासाहेबांची त्रिसूत्री: 'शिका, संघटित व्हा आणि संघर्ष करा'

ही केवळ घोषणा नव्हती, तर समाजाच्या प्रगतीचा मार्ग होता.

शिका: आधी स्वतःला वैचारिकदृष्ट्या सक्षम करा.

संघटित व्हा: एकट्याने लढण्यापेक्षा संघटित शक्ती मोठी असते.

संघर्ष करा: हा संघर्ष शस्त्रांचा नसून हक्कांचा आणि विचारांचा असावा.

५. स्त्री शिक्षणाचे पुरस्कर्ते

बाबासाहेबांनी केवळ पुरुषांच्या हक्कासाठी लढा दिला नाही, तर स्त्रियांना सन्मान मिळावा यासाठी 'हिंदू कोड बिल' मांडले. स्त्रियांना संपत्तीत अधिकार, घटस्फोटाचा अधिकार आणि शिक्षणाची संधी मिळावी, अशी त्यांची ठाम भूमिका होती.

प्रेरणा: "मी एखाद्या समाजाची प्रगती त्या समाजातील महिलांच्या प्रगतीवरून मोजतो," हे त्यांचे वाक्य आजही तितकेच लागू होते.

६. अर्थशास्त्र आणि राष्ट्रनिर्मिती

अनेकांना माहित नाही की, भारतीय रिझर्व बँकेची (RBI) स्थापना खरोखरच डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या 'The Problem of the Rupee: Its Origin and Its Solution' (रुपयाची समस्या: उगम आणि उपाय) या प्रबंधातील संकल्पनांवर आणि शिफारशींवर आधारित आहे. तसेच देशातील धरणे, वीज प्रकल्प आणि कामगारांचे ८ तासांचे काम यांमागे त्यांचीच दूरदृष्टी होती.

बाबासाहेबांचे तीन प्रेरक विचार

"बुद्धीचा विकास करणे हेच मानवाच्या अस्तित्वाचे अंतिम ध्येय असले पाहिजे."

"प्रारंभीपासून शेवटपर्यंत आपण केवळ भारतीय आहोत."

"जीवन हे मोठे असण्यापेक्षा महान असायला हवे."
